Free Resources

I have created a few simple, practical resources that you can download and use whenever you need them.

They aren’t designed to give you another list of things you should be doing. They’re tools to help you reduce the mental load, notice what you need, and find approaches that work with your actual life and capacity.

The Restoration Matrix

We often ask ourselves:

"Do I need a rest?"

But sometimes what we are looking for is not rest but restoration.

Restoration can mean slowing down and reducing stimulation. But it can also mean gentle movement, creativity, connection, or making space for thoughts and emotions.

The Restoration Matrix helps you explore two questions:

Do I need low-demand or gentle engagement?

and

Do I need to move away from my thoughts and emotions for a while, or gently move towards them?

The result is four different forms of restoration, each with its own place.

This free worksheet introduces the matrix and gives you space to think about what kind of restoration might support you today.

Low-demand meal ideas

Because deciding what to eat can be surprisingly exhausting, here is my growing list of meals that require very little thought, preparation or energy.

This is deliberately not a recipe list. It’s an aid for decision fatigue: something I can use to reduce the cognitive load of shopping and meal preparation.

It’s an “I need to eat something and I don’t have much capacity” list.

I’ve turned mine into cards that I can shuffle when I can’t face making another decision. Feel free to download and add your own to the pile.
